Start drinking the diet sodas. I hated them at first but now I'm fine after I got used to the taste. I like diet 7-up the best. I do also like coke zero.

Great tips. No soda is hard, as i feel bad ordering water at a restaurant. I laughed at dip the fork into the sauce, then your food. Simple tip but could really add up in the long run.

Great tips, eating out can be really hard when you are trying to lose weight. Dont be afraid to ask the waiter to change things with the meal to suit you, such as using no oil or no salt or special dresings.

Good advice. I lost 2.5 stone last year by not eating any bread at all, and not eating biscuits.

I actually ate more food, but it was lean high protein meat and vegetables.

I also drank a great deal of water.

Being active every day is very good but our bodies also need some rest to recreate the lost tissues during exercise.

Good information here, helpful Article.

I do not think #10 is a myth. It is proved that if your workload is heavier you lose more calories. And when you jog you definitely workout harder than when you just walk

With our culture today this is becoming a problem. Instant gratification. That somehow transitions over to things that are not a fast process. Dedication, the right foods, and a little planning will get you to lose the pounds. But having the right plan is key too. If you don't know how to lose the weight or what foods are going to help you then you need help. For me strength training and eating less helped me lose 50 pounds some years back. The program that helped me figure out what foods help you lose the pounds is a 2 year old program. I have listed some details about it at www.tamethebulge.com and the nice thing about this program is that Results Are Typical.

You're right that free weights, machines, etc. doesn't matter in the long run for toning and weight loss. That said, I still prefer free weights for a simple reason. Machines are designed to isolate a single muscle and build it. Free weights, however, engage all the intrinsic and core muscles in your body, so they end up working more than a specific muscle. Overall health requires all your intrinsic muscles to fire correctly, strongly, and use energy.

I think people only carry on eating junk food because subconsciously, they think they're making a sacrifice and they're forced to give up their prop (which is their junk food). If only they knew that there is nothing to sacrifice and only fabulous gains to be made by eating the right food.

I hope many people read this article and see the light.
Keep up the great work!
